- Letter: advising that the Commissioner of Crown Lands has reserved the southeast quarter of the Township of Lawrence from sale for the use of the Algonquin Indians for a settlement. States that they are to have no rights on the merchantable timber on the land nor are they to interrupt the parties who have timber licences from cutting and carrying off the timber.
