Les subdivisions administratives sont précisées. Un texte afférent fournit des précisions sur la nature des eaux du fleuve, en cet endroit. D'après une note de Philéas Gagnon, cette section de plan est tirée d'un document de 12 feuilles intitulé "Topographical map of the province of Lower Canada, shewing its division into districts, counties, seigniories & townships, with all the land reserved both for the Crown & the Clergy, &c. &c.".
