- What the image shows
- This is an antique printed map, browned and creased with folds, showing the town of Montreal along the bank of the St. Lawrence River. A title cartouche on the right reads "Town of Montreal with the rocks, shoals, soundings &c. in the harbour," with the town's streets and blocks drawn in fine lines and the river shown with soundings and shoals along its edge. Surrounding land is marked with the words "Province" and "Maine" written across the upper part, and the map is framed by a double border with the river labelled at the bottom.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
