- Item consists of page 26 of the Boyd photograph album. There are nine photographs on the page, which are captioned as follows: 11955 - The Second Contingent's train moving out with the citizens cheering; 11957 - "Bill," the mascot of the Eaton Battery too fat to fight, but a companionable dog; 11958 - 35th Battalion out for a route march through the city. They had them often; 11962a, 11962b, 11963 - The 34th Battalion, stationed at Guelph, formed up on the Market Square of that city, preparatory to being given a farewell reception by the Civic Officials and citizens. The Battalion then went to London to complete their training; 11964, 11965a, 11965b - The Exhibition Grounds where the 34th Battalion were entertained, presented a gay appearance. Thousands of citizens crowded around the Band stand and listened to the speeches, while the soldiers flirted with their daughters.
