What the image shows
A sepia photograph of a painted portrait in profile of a bald, clean-shaven man in clerical dress, with a white surplice or rochet and a dark sleeve and an ornate embroidered stole draped over his shoulders. He gestures with one hand held open toward the viewer, and a small gilt-edged ornament or object is visible at his other hand near the right edge. The painting's name plate above reads "L'ABBE DE CALONNE", and the image is a close, framed copy of an old painting with visible surface stains and cracks.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
