- What the image shows
- A black-and-white photograph of a wide, straight concrete retaining wall running across the frame above a dark canal of still water, with its reflections of trees visible on the surface. Behind the wall a dense line of trees rises against a pale sky, and a small wooden shed or shelter stands on the bank beside a couple of low structures. The image is a general view of the canal's north side, taken from the water's edge; a watermark reading 'Archives de la Ville de Montréal' appears in the lower right corner.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
