- Scope & content
- Item is a digital image of the back of a trading card created by Anne de Haas to promote the Police Mounted Unit of the Toronto Police Services. The text on the back of the card reads: Honest Ed is a Thoroughbred/Clydesdale cross who was born in 2000 and has served since 2004. He was named to honour Mr. Ed Mirvish for his many years of community service. Police Officer Marisa Van Overbeek has been with the Mounted Unit since 2009. PC Van Overbeek and Ed are patrolling the docklands on Cherry Street in the historic area called the Portlands. This is a great place for seeing the skyline of Toronto reflected in the harbour.
