- ASSOCIATION OF FORMER CONCENTRATION CAMP INMATESSURVIVORS OF NAZI OPPRESSIONP.O. Box No. 366 Station Snowdon,Montreal, P.Q.MEMORANDUM:To the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.SURVIVORS OF NAZI OPPRESSION,Lou Zablow, President,Paul Goldstein, Executive DirectorWHEREAS, there are still a number of persons guilty of having participated in the horrible crime of Genocide committed during the World War II.WHEREAS, a considerable number of such people have not yet been apprehended nor punished.WHEREAS, a number of such people have so far eluded justice through various ways and means.WHEREAS, the Statute of Limitations would grant these individuals who participated in the murder of innocent men, women and children, complete immunity from justice.WHEREAS, this would be tantamount to the condoning of mass murder and Genocide.WHEREAS, this would clasify Genocide as lesser evil than a common offense.WHEREAS, this would be a gross violation of the standards of justice of the Civilized World. We, in the name of the thousands of former Concentration Camp Inmates and Survivors of Nazi Oppression, strongly protest the guarantee of freedom to our torturers and the murderers of our kin and fellowmen. We demand that the Statute of Limitations be revoked and that no time limit shall be placed on the punishment of those guilty of the worse crime in the history of mankind.Survivors of Nazism around the world and decent people everywhere will raise their voices in protest and rally in appeals to all Governments and world public opinion, should this miscarriage of justice be enforced.Read automatically; may contain mistakes.
