- Scope & content
- Letter: re his of the 14th on the rights of the Rama Indians to hunt game and flsh for their own use out of season. Advises that no hunting or fishing rights were retained in any treaties involving the Rarna Indians. States that a case is being prepared for submission to the courts to determine whether Indians with whom treaties were made are entitled to other and larger hunting and fishing rights than are His Majesty's other subjects, the decision of which it is hoped will settle the whole question of the right of Indians to hunt and fish over territory ceded by them to the Crown.
