- Act: appointing a Commissioner of Indian Lands for Lower Canada. Indian rights were confirmed in the "occupation and possession" of certain lands in Lower Canada which were held in trust for them. Outlines conditions for receiving "rents, issues and profits of such lands" stating that the Commissioner of Indian Lands shall be responsible for collecting rents.
