- Report: re petition of Peter Shawanipinessi regarding broken lots in the 9th, 1Oth and 11th concessions of Bedford Township. Advises that these lands were surrendered by the Mississaugas and were advertised for sale in 1836 but not sold. Recommends settlement of this wilderness by these Indians as it would prove useful in the event of the Townships of Bedford, Oso, Olden and the rear townships being open for other settlement.
