The website of Queen's University Archives is down (for about 5 hours)

Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

Scope & content
Letter: (typewritten transcript with document) reporting on the dispute between the Abenaki and the Algonquins. Advises that as the hunting grounds of the various tribes of Indians were originally defmed among themselves, with the boundary of each tract perfectly understood by them, it would be preferable to have the matter dealt with by their custom, which is a Council of the Six Nations, as proposed by the Algonquin Chief.
