The website of Queen's University Archives is down (for about 2 hours)

Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

Scope & content
Minutes of Conference: requesting response to their petition. State that the Iroquois have been hunting on their lands under the shelter of the present regulation. Advise that they will become like beggars if they are deprived of their hunting grounds as they own no property and subsist entirely on the hunt. Request a decision as soon as possible as their young men are going off to their hunting grounds. The resident agent advised he would inform Col. Darling of their request and gave them a letter for Captain Ducharme at their village, which instructed him to warn the Iroquois against committing depredations against any other tribe.
