- Scope & content
- One of the most striking features present within the Pavilion of Judaism, was its memorial to the Holocaust. In the background we see a large picture of Anne Frank, to the right are the pages of her diary lent to the Pavilion by Otto Frank. However, it is Cardinal Léger who dominates the foreground. As such this particular picture speaks to the efforts the Jewish community put into their remembrance of the Holocaust all the while presenting the increased outreach between their community and the Catholic Church.
