- Scope & content
- Fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Charles Sauriol. The records consist of three large groups, of photographs, diaries and subject files, and three smaller groups, of published material, awards and videos. The photographs consist of black & white and colour transparencies, prints and negatives, circa 1920-1995, largely documenting the Don Valley, and Sauriol's life and activities in it. The diaries, 1926-1994, cover the same ground, and provide context for many of the photographs. The subject files consist of two intermingled sets of files, circa 1970-1995, one dealing with acquisition of heritage conservation lands and one containing more general subject files.
