The website of Concordia University Archives and Special Collections is down (for about 2 hours)

Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

Scope & content
This subseries illustrates André Duchesne’s wide range of other professional musical projects. Importantly, this sub-series documents compositions done by Duchesne for special occasions, like the opera "Le Rêve de Marguerite Belley", which was composed for the 150th anniversary celebrations of the town of Jonquière in 1997. In 2000, Duchesne participated in the Millennium Symphonie, a collective work by 19 composers, and in 2007, he composed the Symphonie "Allô New-York, ici Montréal, répondez!", which was presented at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum in Montreal. Other work that forms part of this sub-series includes "God Economy", which was first recorded in the early 1980s, but was used later for a project with "Les Voix Vulgaires", an international initiative in support of the Italian pacifist and anarchist magazine 'A/Rivista Anarchica' ; and "Le Club des solitaires", which was performed during the 7e Printemps electroacoustique, at Parc Lafontaine in Montreal in 1992. This subseries also includes information about Duchesne's solo shows and his time as artist in residence at the Villa Concordia in Bamberg, Germany, in 2002-2003. Finally, it also includes scores that are not clearly associated with any of the bands Duchesne led, nor with any of his albums. This subseries contains drafts ; sheet music ; sound recordings ; lyrics ; correspondence ; announcements ; grant applications ; meeting minutes ; a script ; biographical information ; invitations ; publications ; photographs ; poems ; posters ; postcards ; programs ; a hand-out ; a map ; a notebook ; a bookmark ; notes ; a report ; a project description ; business cards ; video recordings ; newspaper articles ; and a costume, among other documents.
