Scope & content: This subseries documents André Duchesne’s compositions created as soundtracks for numerous films in collaboration with various filmmakers. It includes materials related to Duchesne's collaboration with filmmakers Jean and Serge Gagné for the films "Le Royaume ou l’asile", "L’ ou ’L", "À vos risques et périls", "La Couleur encerclée", "La Folie des crinolines", and "Barbaloune". Duchesne’s compositions for films by André Forcier (L'Eau chaude l'eau frette, Bar Salon, Au clair de la lune) ; Sonia Côté (Looky Lune) ; Marilú Mallet (2 rue de la mémoire), and others are also documented in this subseries. This subseries contains a CD booklet ; newspaper articles ; lists of works ; photographs ; sound recordings ; sheet music ; notes ; a contract ; magazines ; two posters ; film scripts ; film proposals ; video recordings ; and a drawing, among other documents.
