- Rapport du comité chargé d'organiser une cérémonie d'accueil à l'occasion de l'arrivée du Genova, premier bateau à vapeur à faire le voyage en ligne directe de Liverpool à Montréal et son capitaine Paton. Le rapport recommande des coups de canon, un dîner public en présence du maire et du gouverneur général durant lequel on présenterait des feux d'artifice. Le comité recommande un budget de 50 £.
