What the image shows
This is a printed map on a torn, brownish paper sheet, titled at the top 'Map Showing The Bell Telephone Company's Underground System in the District of Montreal'. It shows a dense street grid drawn in fine black lines, with a legend in the upper area marking underground conduits, conduit manholes and central offices, and a river waterfront along the bottom edge with a few blocks of buildings at the lower left. Explanatory text blocks in small print appear at the left and right margins, and a handwritten annotation and reference number sit along the lower edge.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
