- What the image shows
- A printed engraved sheet titled "The Montreal Water Works" arranged as a collage of nine framed views and a central street map. The top has a large oval vignette of a pumping station with a tall chimney, and a wide landscape view above the map. The lower row shows a brick tunnel arch with pipes, an outdoor basin with a building, and a long industrial building beside water, while the side panels show machinery such as a large wheel, boilers and interior halls. Dense explanatory text in narrow columns fills the bottom of the sheet.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
