The website of Simon Fraser University Archives & Special Collections is down (for about 2 hours)

Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

Scope & content
The collection consists of 12 sous-fonds that formed the body of scholarly research undertaken Archives of Lesbian Oral Testimony (ALOT). Originally founded in 2010, the ALOT project which collected and made available oral history audio and video recordings, radio and television programs, and associated materials documenting the experiences of same-sex and same-gender attracted women, inclusive of Two Spirit, queer, bisexual, and lesbian women, transmen, and others. With help from students and research assistants, assistance from staff at the SFU Library, and funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the ALOT website grew to house a vast array of revealing, insightful, and sometimes humorous interview recordings plus a well-received podcast and contributions from members of the public. The collection consists of oral histories and sound recordings collected as a part of the ALOT project, as well as personal textual records of some of the oral history participants. Many materials were collected from 2013-2017, but document lesbian history from the mid-20th century to the present. Additionally, archival reproductions of the original websites that contained the original ALOT project have been created and are hosted by the Wayback Machine.
