What the image shows
A black-and-white engraved portrait of a middle-aged man with short, swept-back hair and a full beard along the jaw, shown in three-quarter view facing left. He wears a dark coat with a high white collar and bands at the neck, the clerical-style collar typical of a legal or religious dress. The plain light border and the credit line 'Archives de la Ville de Montréal' printed in the lower corner show it is a reproduced print from a book page.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
