- Item is a digital image of the back of a trading card created by Anne de Haas to promote the Police Mounted Unit of the Toronto Police Services. The text on the back of the card reads: Vimy Ridge is a 12 year old Percheron cross who is named in honour of the Canadian soldiers who served at this famous battle. Police Constable Luciano Santoro has been a member of the Toronto Police Service for 11 years. He has served with the Mounted Unit for 2 years. PC Santoro and Vimy are in ceremonial uniform at historic Fort York, built on the site of an old garrison that dates back to 1793. Fort York has a rich history as is one of the oldest sites in the city of Toronto.
