- Scope & content
- Item is a digital image of the back of a trading card created by Anne de Haas to promote the Police Mounted Unit of the Toronto Police Services. The text on the back of the card reads: Brock is a Belgian Hackney cross born in 2007. He is named in honour of Sir Isaac Brock who was killed defending Canada in the War of 1812. PC Mike Mulhall joined the TPS in 1988 and has been riding with the Mounted Unit for eight years. PC Mulhall and Brock are in ceremonial uniform at historic Fort York built on the site of an old garrison that dates back to 1793. Fort York has a rich history and is one of the oldest sites in the city of Toronto.
