Scope & content: Item consists of issue six of Unzer Sztyme, a Yiddish bi-weekly periodical printed in 1946. Issue six has handwritten printed pages with illustrations, the cover was printed with blue ink. Issue six features several news reports covering protests at camps across Germany against the British ruling on Eretz-Israel. There are several news reports on the "secret" radio station Kol Israel (Voice of Israel), news reports and dispatches on Jewish activity around the world, the Jewish Press on zionism, and literature and art. Issue six has a new dictionary of yiddish words created during the Holocaust. Berl Fridler illustrated this issue.
