1 page, double-sided horizontal paper. Recto contains handwriting of Ferenc Weinberger, dated at top right "944.julius.6-?" and signed at bottom centre "Feri". Verso, right side addressed to "Weinberger Gustav / (...) / Borgoprund / Beszterce-Naszod m. / 108/81." Sender's address at left "Weinberger Ferenc / msz. / D/438". At top right, signature of Captain Soós in red ink. The card is an official camp reply postcard, with a small space on the rear for an answer. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. The postcard was sent from Ferenc Weinberger, Gustav's brother, to Gustav Weinberger. The card was written on July 6, was postmarked on July 7, and was inspected on July 8. The correspondence was under supervision of Captain Soós. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family. Montreal: McGill-Queen's University Press, 1996. Print.
