Scope & content
On the front is an illustration of a woman sitting in a chair, wearing a wedding dress, and a man sitting on the arm of her chair, wearing a suit. On the back is a stamp from the Austrian-Hungarian Empire with a portrait of Kaiser Franz Joseph, worth 5 Heller. Narrative: This postcard was written by Bernhard Kissman (Donor's father) to his fiancee Fritzi Winter (Donor's mother) who lived at that time with her parents in Tescheutz, Bukowina. They got married in July 1913. Bernhard Kissman worked at various places in forestry. Postcards between them were written daily, often a letter followed.
