- Scope & content
- Rectangular base, supported by 2 decorative feet at the front, on both sides, and a 'v' at the back, centre. Attached to the front half of the base, raised on a platform, is a row of 8 candle holders. Attached to the back half of the base is a decorative back-board. The back-board is open in the centre; on either side are lions, looking outwards, holding open a curtain. Both sides are connected with a decorative arch, topped with a crown. Attached to the front of the arch, at the bottom centre, is a protruding arm with an inverted candle-holder attached to the bottom; attached to the top right of the back-board is a thin metal piece with a slit in the centre. At the back of the main base is an additional beveled platform. Attached to the platform is a small peacock statue, with its tail filling in the centre of the arm. The tail is attached loosely to the peacock's backside with a rod connecting the top with the protruding arm on the front.
