Stating that Lac Simon Band's summer living point and old trapping grounds comprise part of this land. Also indicating that the Grand Lac Victoria Band members use area extensively and have spent their lives on the waters of the Ottawa and Chichicouane Rivers, and will have to fmd new trapping grounds. Also, concerning the Lac Barriere Band, writing that they will not be affected as much. Further stating that the fact remains that. in practice, the Indians will not be able to fmd employment as guides due to the attitudes of the public, and also due to the fact that few of them understand English or French. Asking that training be commenced so that they can be wardens, and also that a scheme be developed to train them as guides, but until then, that they be allowed to retain their trapping rights for at least another 5 years.
