- Scope & content
- Copy of Letter: stating that Indian Agent Farrell of Golden Lake is making a plea through DIA that Indians be granted gun permits and hunting licenses free, and indicating that he has no objection as these Indians "never have enough money to buy licenses and the result is what hunting they do is mostly illegal." Indicating that they should observe law if privilege granted. Also stating that "we are making an effort to get these Indians away from the relief habit. Just now they are earning their money by cleaning [sic] land under a white foreman with the hope that next year they will be growing food for themselves."
