- Scope & content
- Letter: re subject of offences against game laws by Indians. Advises that the DIA has always impressed upon them that they are subject to the laws of the province and that the laws governing game and fish are to their benefit. States that at the same time the Dept feels that the treaties made with the Indians continues their right to hunt and fish as in former times and should receive special consideration from the overseers of the game and fishery laws.
