The website of Queen's University Archives is down (for about 5 hours)
Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

- Scope & content
- Letter: enclosing letter dated Aug. 22, 1837 addressed to Captain Ducharme advising him of the instructions of the Earl of Gosford. Advises that the reason he had brought up the matter of the petitions again was because the Indians themselves had begged him to do so as they had expected an answer long before this time and hoped that the Governor might order an enquiry into the affair.
