- Letter: forwarding another petition on behalf of the Chiefs of the Algonquin, and Nipissing Tribes residing at the Lake of Two Mountains with the request that it be laid before His Excellency the Commander of the Forces. Advises that he held back from submitting this petition as he had been advised of the Governor's decision but states that the Chiefs' request is urgent.
