Scope & content
Jewish Peretz School in 1959 at its new location on Wavell Road. The move to Côte-Saint-Luc from its old location on Duluth Avenue in the Plateau was bittersweet for the principal, Yaacov Zipper, who was sad to leave the memories of the Downtown neighbourhood behind, but cognizant of the fact that the school could only survive if it followed its students to the suburbs.Courtesy of the JPL-A.
