- Scope & content
- A July 1948 letter and membership application form from Solomon Buchsbaum, the president of the New (Jewish) Canadians Club, a YMHA-sponsored club for young adult European Jewish refugees who moved to Montreal after the Holocaust. Buchsbaum tries to create a more organized membership process. He also states the intention to create smaller clubs and interest groups that the YMHA hoped would later integrate with other young adult groups. This plan did not s쳮d and the New Canadians Club ceased operations by early 1949. Courtesy of Jewish Public Library, JewCan boxes, Institutions - YM-YWHA.
