In Council 27th December 1843The Committee of Council have taken into consideration the Report of the late Commissioner of Crown lands dated 2nd February 1843 and the accompanying Papers on the subject of the Crown lands of the Crown in the Saguenay Territory.The Report recommends a reduction &c.The Committee concur in the views laid down in the Commissioner's Report &c.The Committee therefore respectfully recommend to Your Excellency to authorize the granting of lands in the District of Saguenay at the following upset price.
