What the image shows
This is a printed circular letter on aged paper, with a handwritten reference number at the top left and a faded stamp-like mark at the bottom. It is laid out as a typed or printed official notice from the Office of the Clerk of the Peace in Quebec, addressed to Sir, with a body of dense English text and a signed closing from the Clerk of the Peace and the Sessions of the Peace. A small watermark-style credit line reading Archives de la Ville de Montréal appears at the bottom right.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
