Scope & content
What the image shows
A handwritten letter in dark brown ink on aged, lined paper, filling nearly the whole page with closely spaced cursive lines. A place and date line appears at the top right, and a small circular stamp with a number is printed in the upper right corner, with a faint marking near the top left. The text is dense and in a formal nineteenth-century hand, with a salutation at the start of the body and a signature block near the bottom.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
