What the image shows
This is a printed engraving pasted onto a yellow mount, with a handwritten caption in French below it. The engraving shows a central figure in a long-tailed garment holding a bow and arrow above a snowshoe-like shape, flanked by two large oval snowshoes with lattice webbing. Above, a row of animals (a deer, a goat-like creature, and an elk-like animal) stands beside trees, and below, an archer kneels to shoot at a moose-like animal and an animal that looks like a bear. Printed text in the engraving reads "1e Raquettes" and "BRAYER" followed by a short paragraph describing a length of cloth tied with a cord.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
