- What the image shows
- This is an engraved print showing a standing man in a tricorn-style hat and knee-length coat, smoking a pipe and carrying a long musket over one shoulder. He wears wide snowshoes that rest flat on the ground in front of him, and a bare tree stands at the right beside him against a hazy, open landscape. A printed caption in French runs across the top of the image, and the plate has a small printed inscription along the bottom edge.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
