- What the image shows
- A printed book page with an engraved illustration at the top showing a walled port town on a hillside, with a fortified gate, towers and ships with sails on the water in the foreground, and a few small figures and smoke-like clouds near the left edge. Below the engraving, the page carries a large bold title reading HISTOIRE GENERALE DE LA MARINE, followed by smaller capital text for LIVRE XXVIII and a block of printed French body text in columns. A circular library stamp appears at the right margin, so this is a book page rather than a photograph.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
