- What the image shows
- This is a hand-coloured copper-engraved map of North America on a curved projection, with the continent shown in pale pink, green, and yellow tints against an off-white sheet. Ocean labels such as "MER DU NORD" and "MER DU SUD" appear around the edges, and a decorative cartouche with a palm tree and mountain sits in the lower left corner. Along the bottom right, small lettering labels the Caribbean islands and the Isthmus region, and the map is bordered by a thin printed frame.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
