This is an engraved print showing the ruined interior of a church, viewed down the nave toward a tall altarpiece with columns and a painted panel. The vaulted wooden ceiling is broken open with gaps and fallen beams, and the floor is strewn with rubble, planks and debris. Several small figures in period dress move among the wreckage, and paintings hang on the side walls beside arched windows. The bilingual English and French title is engraved along the lower margin, and the print is credited as drawn by Richard Short and engraved by C.
