Cette page (2187) de l'édition du 25 août 1860 du Illustrated London News comporte deux gravures présentant des vues de Montréal. La première est une vue depuis le mont Royal où on peut apercevoir le réservoir d'eau, la basilique Notre-Dame et le pont Victoria à l'arrière-plan. La deuxième est une vue depuis le fleuve Saint-Laurent où on peut voir des bateaux dont un à vapeur, les habitations de Montréal dont la basilique Notre-Dame et le mont Royal à l'arrière-plan.
