DRUMMOND, McCALL & CO.IRON & STEEL MERCHANTSMONTREAL & TORONTO.Secretary, Waterworks Department,City Hall, Montreal.Dear Sir:-Montreal Jan. 23nd., 1908.Referring to the service pipe for my house, 26 Lincoln Ave., I beg to advise you that it is of too small a size to give an adequate supply to the house, the consequence being that I am unable to get water in the upper flats when it is being used in the basement or in the kitchen. My Plumber pointed this out to you at the time the house was being fitted out and he was informed that you thought the service pipe was large enough but if it was found too small this would be adjusted by you later on. My Plumber informs me that his service pipe is 1" diameter and that this should be the same. I shall, therefore, be glad if you will take note of this application to have the change made in the Spring as soon as weather permits.Yours faithfully,Read automatically; may contain mistakes.
