The website of Archives de Montréal (Ville de Montréal) is down (for about 5 hours)

Its images and links won't load until it's back. Panarchive shows each image straight from the archive's own website, so when that site is down the picture can't be shown here. Nothing is lost: everything returns once the archive is back up, and we check every few minutes.

Films Ltd.,Montreal.Attention of Mr. Tennant.Toronto, Mar. 4th, 20.Gentlemen:-Yours of Mar. 1 received. Re photos of D'Allaird blouse shops made for you in this city.We are surprised to learn that you doubt whether we made the exposures, & also accuse us of not having shipped the photos to you. It would surely be an odd method of doing business if we did not make or ship the pictures to our client - yet charge him for them just the same. Now gentlemen, the writer personally made the photos & saw that they were mailed to you at the earliest moment. The only reason they were not registered, was that they were put on an earlier train than would have otherwise been the case, Your Mr. Graham asked that the work be done quickly. The reason we charged $9.00, was because it was found necessary to make two photos of one of the stores on account of it being so small. It was left to our judgment as to number of shots required. On application to the postal authorities, we find that they have every reason to believe the tube delivered atRead automatically; may contain mistakes.
