What the image shows
A large aged broadside printed poster with a heavy black display headline reading Voltigeurs Canadiens, followed by smaller bold lines and several paragraphs of dense printed text in French, with a bold sum given as Quatre-vingt-seize livres and the words Vive le Roi, Vivent les Voltigeurs near the bottom. The paper is stained, browned and foxed at the edges, and the text is laid out in centred blocks with a signature-style line at the foot. It is a recruitment notice for a military unit, shown as a flat scan of the whole sheet against a dark background.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
