What the image shows
This is an old hand-coloured printed map with a decorative title cartouche reading "A Map of the Province of Upper Canada" in ornate lettering, with a second dedication panel addressed to a king below it. The map shows the Great Lakes, with Lake Huron and Lake Ontario labelled, and the land areas of southern Ontario are tinted in pink, yellow and green, with county and township boundaries and small place names marked across them. Smaller inset panels and tables of text appear in the upper left and along the margins, and the paper is aged and browned with visible folds.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
