- This is a dark, moody-toned engraved print of a night scene on a river, with clouds in the sky and rocky banks on both sides. In the foreground a small rowing boat carries a standing man in dark clothes, a woman in a pale gown and hat, another woman, and a man at the oars, and a white flag is raised from the boat.
