What the image shows
An engraved print titled as a perspective view of a town and its fortifications, seen from across a river in a horizontal panoramic view. A long row of stone walls with turrets and gaps runs across the middle, behind which stand rooftops, a tall church spire on the left, and a large building with twin towers and several chimneys on the right, with a flag flying from a bastion at the far right. In the foreground on the left are a low hill with a tree and two plain multi-storey houses, and the water of the river fills the lower part, with numbered reference marks scattered across the image and a handwritten list of notes in the bottom margin.Described automatically by a vision model; may contain mistakes.
